Meat Assistant Manager Heritage Grocers Group LLCMeat Assistant ManagerLas Vegas, NV$19.25–$22.06 / hourESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist Meat Manager with preparing the weekly sales and labor projections for the meat department in order to maximize sales and profits; Assist with preparing a weekly schedule based on projected sales and workload; Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer inquiries, and complaints; Maintain inventory levels; Complete opening and closing duties as assigned; Assist with monitoring quality of meat, poultry, and seafood; Assistant Team Manager by making sure Team Members are following safety and health guidelines. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Food Handlers Card; Prior experience at a grocery store required; Should have at least two years' experience as a meat cutter; Prior leadership and management experience preferred; Understanding of grocery store operations; Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to develop and achieve sales and production goals.
