This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that requires mechanical aptitude, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work independently at job sites across the region. We are a road construction company seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to join our team.
This position also instructs inmates in the special skills necessary to operate a Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant through an apprentice on-the-job training program designed to develop experience and skills necessary to assume and fulfill the position of Operator of a water or sewer utility. Candidates claiming Veterans Preference must attach supporting documentation with each submission that includes character of service (for example, DD Form 214 Member Copy #4) along with any other documentation as required by Rule 55A-7, Florida Administrative Code.
The technician will assist with performing preventative maintenance, system inspections, basic troubleshooting, and general service support for residential and/or commercial heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment.
As a Maintenance MechanicalTechnician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will maintain equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and complete minor fabrication work. Work on items related to safety (safety work orders, safety suggestions) and to be able to work on items during scheduled down days or break ins at the plant.
p>JOB DUTIES: This working position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of all types of electronic systems and devices including but not limited to, electronic perimeter security systems, internal electronic security systems, electronic and electrical locking control systems, CCTV systems, communications systems, and associated systems and components utilized in the operation of a correctional facility.

- A high school diploma or its equivalent and at least one (1) year of experience in the electronics /electrician field OR four or more years of electronics experience (College or vocational/technical training in one of the above listed trades can substitute for the required experience.).
