The candidate is expected to develop and sustain a strong and externally funded research program in the area of Industrialized Construction, maintain a strong record of high-quality publications, teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in ISE, promoting excellence and innovation in learning, contribute to curriculum development in ISE related topics, engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research across HWCOE and UF and with external partners and actively participate in departmental, school, and professional service. The HWCOE has the country’s largest and most advanced 3D construction printer, and the printer will be incorporated into research and curriculum for multiple departments in the HWCOE, including lessons and projects in construction, manufacturing, materials, data analytics, operations research, structural health monitoring, coastal resilience, safety, design, and sustainability.
