p>The following are the primary duties, though others may be assigned as necessary: ā¢ Collaborate with Safety Director ("SD") on safety policies, procedures and safety manual ā¢ Assist in the daily JSA development with the Safety Project team for specific work activities ā¢ Inspect tools/equipment with assistance from the Safety Project team ā¢ Coordinate with the Safety Director to variance for site specific safety issues (i.e., fall protection) ā¢ Attend joint safety meetings with the client and project team ā¢ Coordinate weekly/biweekly safety communications with Good Work Practices and safety communication to continually improve our safety culture ā¢ Assist in the development of improvement plans and training to improve safety procedures ā¢ Document injuries, report incidents, and investigate and manage claims ā¢ Develop and lead safety investigation to identify root cause analysis, developing improvement plans and assisting HR with personnel improvement plans or retraining requirements ā¢ Report, record and track injuries requiring medical treatment ā¢ Track and manage work related injuries ā¢ Submit incidents and near misses to the Safety Director ā¢ Document motor vehicle accidents and provide a detailed accident investigation ā¢ Prepare and submit proposals for training and safety measures, including equipment and processes ā¢ Provide safety orientations and provide new hire orientations for the project team ā¢ Coordinate in maintaining training records for the Company's workforce ā¢ Assist in sourcing third party training courses ā¢ Assist in scheduling and documenting health exams post-accident drug testing ā¢ Develop/revise/audit safety hazard assessment documentation completion processes ā¢ Modify and develop JSA forms ā¢ Modify and develop monthly inspection form and assist with online form management ā¢ Develop, revise, and maintain project and site safety plans ā¢ Develop and approve job health risk assessments ā¢ Review and audit site job hazard analysis programs ā¢ Review and revise safety hazard assessments plans and document per client requirements ā¢ Work with Clients, General Contractors and Site Managers to correct site issues ā¢ Conduct job walks with clients ā¢ Attend meetings, including safety meetings, incident reviews, project kick-off, safety stand-downs, and other work process meetings. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to work outdoors and be exposed to (i) wet and/or humid conditions; (ii) moving mechanical and electrical parts; (iii) elevated work sites; (iv) dust, fumes, and airborne particles; and (v) sunlight; cold and heat.
