Education/Experience:
Possession of an Associate of Arts degree or completion of sixty (60) semester units or equivalent quarter hours from an accredited college or university with major course work in in counseling, social services, or a related field and four (4) years of employment experience working with at-risk youth or adults, which has included training and experience in mediation, conflict resolution, gang intervention and/or related areas, with at least two (2) years of management, supervisory or lead experience.
Collaborate with Shift Manager in the development of employee performance development plans (PDPs); Coach, mentor and guide Associates in the execution of PDPs; Utilize progressive coaching and counseling concepts according to established policies and procedures to provide continuous feedback on performance, increase employee retention and improve employee relations. 2-5 : related warehouse experience; Team Lead or Supervisory experience managing 15+ associates is highly desired; Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems; voice recognition, inventory control, labor management is a plus.
p>Loss Prevention: - Understands and complies with the Loss Prevention Awareness Program and is responsible for Store Loss Prevention which includes maintaining a large Customer service presence on the sales floor, Customer and Associate engagement and heightened Loss Prevention awareness.
- Responsible for security of building including entrance/exit control (Associate entry/egress, receiving door, daily trash removal, etc.), Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) devices daily function check, Cash Office security, armored carrier pick-ups and register area.
