Provides leadership and support to Environment of Care (Safety) committee, sub-committees and/or management programs including but not limited to: Emergency Management, Hazardous Materials, incident review and injury prevention analysis, fire prevention and life safety issues, quality improvement and patient safety issues. The Safety Manager is responsible for compliance and enforcement of regulatory and accreditation requirements including the Joint Commission, NFPA, the PA Department of Health, PA Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other federal, state and local codes and ordinances.
