p>• Report to work each workday on or before designated check-in time in proper attire including steeltoed safety boots, slacks or jeans, short or long-sleeved shirt, provided coveralls and personal protective equipment (PPE); • Perform general maintenance on transit facilities including cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, and garbage and snow removal; • Maintain a clean, professional and presentable area for customers and employees at the Transfer Point; • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area for all transit employees; • Perform routine cleaning of restrooms, offices, and lunchroom for transit employees; • Perform routine sanitizing of buses, offices and lunchroom; • Perform routine fueling of transit buses and support vehicles; • Perform routine exterior cleaning of transit buses and support vehicles; • Maintain the interior cleanliness of transit buses and support vehicles; • Perform light maintenance on facilities, bus shelters, and equipment (as directed by the Maintenance Foreman); • Assist the Transit Operations Supervisor(s) and Transit Coordinators with bus related issues; • Observe and promote safety for the department; • Act as a professional representative of Shoreline Metro and the City of Sheboygan; • Work in a team environment by establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships; • Performs other related duties as assigned.
