p>The Director of Strategy and Partnerships is a senior leadership team role, reporting to LASP's Director, that develops and executes LASP's strategic vision, cultivates the partnerships essential to advancing the lab's space science mission, and ensures competitive proposals are submitted for winning new grants and contracts that support the laboratory's science and technology efforts. From enabling the first exploratory rocket measurements of Earth's upper atmosphere to trailblazing observations of every planet in the solar system, LASP is at the forefront of solar, planetary and space physics research, space-weather monitoring, and the search for evidence of habitable worlds. Through research projects, LASP participates actively in the training of the future leaders of space research and helps the University of Colorado to educate students with valued technical and scientific skills.
p>Job Summary: The BDO Washington National Tax Office (WNT) Advisory practice provides technical leadership and support to firm client service professionals and alliance firms on tax matters, new legislation and Treasury guidance, articles on key tax issues and working with marketing and Tax quality control to ensure high level of information that is disseminated internally and externally.
- Develops an in-depth understanding of the technical and practical issues and opportunities regarding one or more areas of taxation, e.g., individual, corporate, property, sales, corporate, pass-through, state and local, international, expatriate, transfer pricing, credits and incentives, compensation and benefits, accounting methods, R&D tax benefits.
This leadership role supports COAHEC's statewide mission of strengthening Colorado's health workforce pipeline, advancing healthcare in our communities, and supporting practice transformation in alignment with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) AHEC program goals. Provide course co-direction of the COAHEC National Underserved Scholars (COAHEC NUS, the graduate arm of AHEC Scholars) CU SOM elective to include Oasis management of grades and assisting in providing vision and resources to its curriculum.
