Administrative responsibilities for assigned sports teams including but not limited to; collection of insurance, demographic information, medical histories, sickle cell trait status and scheduling pre-participation physicals prior to the start of any athletic activity, documentation of athletic injuries and rehabilitation session, healthcare referrals including scheduling appointments with primary care, orthopedic team physicians or other healthcare provider, scheduling diagnostic images such as X-rays, MRI's, etc. Provide healthcare for assigned teams to student-athletes within the Elon Department of Athletics by attending competitions and practices, including traveling with teams to away competitions, through injury/illness prevention and immediate care, examination, assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention of all athletic related injuries.
