Responsibilities of the Pump Service Technician include, but are not limited to: · Diagnose, repair, and rebuild a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment either in-house or in the field · Perform tear down and inspection to identify scope of work and required components for repair · Proper communication with Service Manager and Customer Service Support staff required · Participation in safety training is required, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must always be worn · Will work directly with our customers, vendors, and co-workers to develop and sustain a positive relationship. Qualifications of the Pump Service Technician include, but are not limited to: · 3+ years of mechanical service experience required (diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, aircraft mechanic, etc.) · Experience working with rotating equipment necessary · Pump knowledge preferred · Communications skills are necessary for this role: Face to face, telephone, and computer skills · Welding and fabrication experience not required, but desirable · Background check, physical, and drug test required · Must have current driver's license and acceptable driving record according to company guidelines.
