Bachelors degree and/or 5 years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Prior experience managing people in production, equipment maintenance, and/or quality control • Ability to interpret production reports and P&L statements • Strong background in maintenance with an understanding of processes and equipment • Proficient in MS Office suite, web-based data management tools, and Internet applications • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipment • Able to perform job tasks in dusty, hot, and/or cold working conditions • Must wear company-provided personal protective equipment (earplugs, hard hat, safety boots, shoes, and protective glasses). Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all production employees Provide leadership and direction for overall production in accordance with our vision and values Inspire, train, and coach team members on daily responsibilities, procedures, or process changes Monitor performance of each team member and provide feedback Work with Site Manager and Production Manager to improve manufacturing processes and ensure quality of products while maintaining a safe work environment Plan and coordinate efficient use of employees, materials, and machine to meet business goals Communicate necessary information and issues to employees and management.
