Additional qualifications include:- High School Diploma or equivalent required;- Associate's degree or vocational training preferred - Work experience in a manufacturing environment, petroleum refinery, chemical plant, military fuels management or other related process industry jobspreferred - Application of basic mathematics, conversion factors, and tables/charts is required for each classification - Mechanical aptitude is strongly desirable - A basic understanding of chemistry and physics principles is desirable - Qualify for a respirator SCBA clearance - Ability and willingness to work shift work, including nights, weekends, holidays, and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime- Strong commitment to safety- Ability and willingness to work in inclement weather and work at heights - Ability to satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, and drug screenings - Excellent team member characteristics - Capable of comprehending and following complex procedures in a fast-paced environment - Good communication skills (written, face-to-face, radio, and phone) - Capable to transverse uneven terrain, scaffolding and earthen area - Able to climb ladders, elevated walkways and climb onto rail carsAbout UsAt Par Pacific, we own and operate market-leading energy and infrastructure businesses in logistically complex markets.
