Examples of specialized experience include but are not limited to the following: provides leadership, oversight, and management of the facilities division, develops, implements, and manages projects and alternatives, develops, and manages work group budget and project budgets, oversees multiple employees, vessel and fleet management, and a safety and training program. Specialized experience is defined as: professional experience leading complex, risk-based audit programs, managing resources, and expertly applying GAGAS and GAAS to evaluate internal controls and establish quality assurance frameworks; OR analyzing intricate financial or operational data to prepare executive-level reports and serving as a technical advisor on complex regulatory and compliance matters. Combination of education and experience: 4 years of accounting experience or a combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge AND 24 semester hours (or 36 quarter hours) in accounting/auditing courses or a certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor.
Alternatively, if you are a current military member in active duty service and do not have a copy of your DD Form-214, you must submit a written documentation (certification) from your branch of service certifying that you are expected to be discharged or released from active duty under honorable conditions no later than 120 days after the date the certification is submitted with your application for this position. Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II, minimum).
