Key Responsibilities: Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systemsPerform Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolutionManage day-to-day system operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and updatesConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu)Support OS installation, file systems, TCP/IP networking, and software lifecycle activitiesTroubleshoot system, application, and infrastructure issues across mission environmentsUtilize automation and configuration management tools (Salt, Ansible)Monitor systems using tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, and SplunkCollaborate using Jira, Confluence, Git, and Slurm for workload and system managementSupport performance optimization and capacity planningQualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (5 additional years of experience may substitute)Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator in similar environmentsDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent)Strong experience with Linux system administration, networking, and troubleshootingExperience with monitoring, automation, and scripting tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Ansible, Bash)Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
