Manages and coordinates the procurement of clinical laboratory supplies, equipment Monitors standing orders, negotiates supply contracts, continually evaluates pricing, and terminates agreements with vendors Assists in developing, evaluating, and implementing new procedures and protocolsEvaluates employees' work performance, provides orientation and training Ensures all instrument maintenance is performed and documented; administers all established quality control procedures and troubleshoots instruments effectively when appropriateMaintains medical laboratory supplies inventory, determines inventory level, anticipates needed suppliesInitiates, designs, and completes special projects, process improvements,, or new method implementation in the Clinical LaboratoryMaintains laboratory productivity, monitors workload, and ensures all workflow processes are completed within acceptable time frames.
