Develop and manage cross-functional programs, facilitating relationships across multiple teams to identify risks, manage dependencies and optimize resources Drive visibility, accountability, and execution across their areas of software development for the organization Understand technology stack and roadmap, technical challenges, business needs, and develop a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet customer needs Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and product development processes in a fast-changing environment, drive impact through deployment of key initiatives and garner adoption of those processes Establish expertise in an area, becoming the go-to escalation point for execution, leader for driving visibility across the program, and orchestrator for managing the integration across your program area Drive high quality technical outcomes for the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phasesBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience 7+ years experience as a technical program manager, leading complex hardware and/or software development programs Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems Proven communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa, with expertise communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience operating autonomously across multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrating initiative and informed decision-making Demonstrated experience leading execution across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, with experience making technical and product tradeoffs balancing business needs and technical constraints Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Experience shipping consumer wearable products with AI-powered features Experience managing or contributing to full software development lifecycle processes (planning, development, testing, release) Experience with AI Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Firmware development Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
