p style="line-height:normal">As a Bindery Operator Assistant, you support production by assisting with finishing processes such as collating, stitching, cutting, and packaging materials.
Be prepared to upload: 1) cover letter addressing the candidate's experience pertinent to the responsibilities of the position, description of qualifications, and career goals; 2) copies of all graduate level transcripts; 3) contact information for four letters of reference; 4) curriculum vitae, which should include a biographical sketch, service, and a complete list of publications and grants, and 5) a research philosophy in which the candidate´s vision for a soybean breeding program is described. An integrative and collaborative approach to research is expected, which will include collaborations with other breeders and researchers on the main campus in Columbia, statewide and regional extension specialists, as well as scientists at the national and international levels.

In addition to performing general bookkeeping and office clerical work, the position is responsible for assisting and interacting with customers and contractors both in person (sales counter) and via electronic communication methods (i.e., phone, facsimile, email) concerning the sale of lumber and building materials in a prompt and courteous manner. Actual pay is determined by several job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, including, but not limited to, experience relative to the job, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.
