Located in the Greater Avenues neighborhood and affiliated with the University of Utah Orthopedic Department, our clinic consists of more than 110 clinical and administrative team members, and provides specialized care for children with scoliosis and spine conditions, orthopedic conditions, and plastic and reconstructive surgery needs. Responsibilities include the evaluation and management of general pediatric orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to fracture care and follow-up, sprains and minor sports injuries, developmental conditions such as hip dysplasia and flatfoot, gait and alignment concerns, and common overuse injuries.
li>Provides direct treatment and management of conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources, inclusive of administering medications according to the formulary protocol or upon patient-specific approval from the supervising physician or transmits orally or in writing on a patient’s record, a prescription from the supervising physician to a person who may furnish such medication.
