Perform rounds and readings checking all site equipment & systems including Plant related HVAC equipment (Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Air Handlers, CAH & CRAH Units, Piping systems, Valves,etc.), Boiler Plant Equipment (Boilers, Pumps, for both Potable and Non-Potable systems), Critical Data Center Rounds/Readings, Emergency Power Systems (Generators, etc.), Life Safety Systems (Sprinkler Systems, Emergency Exit Signs/lights, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarm Panel & FCC Room, Electrical Rooms, Elevator Machinery Rooms, Mechanical Rooms, etc.) and other systems as directed by the Chief Engineer. What this job involves - Under the direction of the Chief Engineer, the Assistant Chief Engineer’s primary responsibility is to provide joint supervision of the Engineering Department Staff and to help manage all operations, maintenance activities & support as needed by the Engineering Team.
