Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
You will work closely with servo specialists, subject matter experts, mechanical packaging engineers and external vendors to deliver a robust, high performance, producible CCA that meets stringent laser weapon requirements. * Liaise with external silicon and PCB vendors, providing clear design files, bill of materials (BOM), and manufacturing instructions; support prototype fabrication, assembly, and yield analysis activities.
This position works directly on the production floor alongside production machinists, inspectors, programmers, supervisors, and leadership to identify root causes, reduce defects, improve process capability, and ensure compliance to customer, AS9100, and internal quality requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and comfortable making timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment involving tight-tolerance machined castings and complex customer requirements.
As the Circuit Card Design Engineer you will own end to end design-from initial concept through layout, verification, and release-ensuring each design meets power distribution, EMI, grounding, isolation, and environmental requirements. * Capture schematics and produce EPCAD layouts using Siemens-Xpedition Enterprise, applying best practice routing, signal integrity, and EMI mitigation techniques.
This position develops project cost estimates, supports construction and repair scheduling, and collaborates with internal engineering teams to assign priorities and coordinate workloads. The role may provide technical guidance and oversight to other transportation engineering staff and work cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Such person shall be a Florida Registered Architect or a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer in the discipline requested and having practiced for a minimum of five (5) years within the State of Florida, two (2) years of which shall have been within the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) or by passing the Board of Rules and Appeals (BORA) HVHZ exam. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, City officials, supervisors, co-workers, other City employees, vendors, the general public and other outside organizations with the goal of fostering positive employee relations and employee morale.
