Summary: The Manufacturing Supply Chain Planner will utilize the Supply Chain Management System to create and manage the release of manufacturing plans that are achievable and realistic while minimizing excess work-in-process inventory and enabling final assembly schedules to be executed at or above completion goals. Manage and maintain critical planning parameters including manufacturing lead-times, order minimums, order maximums, safety stock levels, shrinkage factors, and other variables that impact plan effectiveness; communicate concerns to management.
In addition, the position provides planning and scheduling support for Central Construction projects as capacity allows, ensuring maintenance and construction activities are integrated to minimize operational impact. This role leverages strong industrial electrical knowledge to develop job plans, labor and material estimates, and make independent decisions that minimize downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
What you will do: Plan purchased raw material and components by category and supplier to maintain optimal inventory levels to support production requirements and inventory turn goals.
