Production Supervisor (Night Shift) Great Lakes Wine and SpiritsProduction Supervisor (Night Shift)Detroit, MIFull timeOther duties include, but are not limited to:Mitigating and monitoring: careless behavior, breakage, idle & over-time, and excessive or inappropriate supply usageFollowing safety, security guidelines as communicated, pertaining but not limited to: cleanliness, PPE compliance, biomechanical techniques, potential hazards, MHE certs, suspicious activity and theftOpening/closing/resetting work areas and/or buildings as dictated by protocolAuditing work area drops zones to ensure product is physically and electronically handled correctlySurveying assigned work area(s) daily to identify & correct issues that aren't in line with shift/company goals regularly throughout the shiftEnsuring work area SOPs / responsibilities are properly and timely addressed As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will also be responsible for maintaining logs pertinent to payroll and employee information as needed. Other duties include, but are not limited to:Conducting team meetings on subject matter delegated by Warehouse Management, as well as HR and SafetyMonitoring and maximizing employee engagement via recognition and accountability interactions with direct reportsEnsuring safety guidelines are communicated and followed by direct reportsEnsuring equipment assigned to or required by direct reports is maintained, available and functioning properly Work Environment & Physical Demands:The Warehouse Supervisor will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibrations where noise levels can be loud.
