You will address the health care needs of civilians after natural disasters or civil emergencies; treat injuries and illnesses suffered by Soldiers through the administration of immediate emergency care and ongoing care; and support and manage medical readiness, supplies, and equipment. Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career with civilian hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers.
Assists with collection of the following lab tests: capillary sticks for Hemoglobin, Lead, Glucose, Rapid Mono, Cholesterol, throat swabs for Strep, Nasal swab for Covid-19 (not nasopharyngeal), urine specimens for UA, urine Culture, and urine HCG. Performs testing for the following waived tests: Influenza, Rapid Mono, Rapid Strep, RSV, SARS/Covid-19, Urinalysis, Occult Blood, Point of Care Glucose, HCG, and Hgb.

p>GS-04 - Six months of qualifying experience as an LPN or LVN; OR Graduation from an approved school (which may be waived as provided in paragraph 4 of Section C) and one year of experience that involved nursing care work in a hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home, or other supervised medical, nursing, or patient care facility that provided a practical knowledge of human body structure and sterile techniques and procedures; OR Graduation from an approved school of at least 24 months duration. Major duties include, but are not limited to:
Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions. May assist pharmacist in administering clinical services including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other clinical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.
