Monitor, interpret, and guide internal stakeholders regarding changes in trade laws, assess risk, and advise on business impacts, including US (customs, EAR, ITAR, OFAC), EU, China, and other foreign jurisdictions’ trade laws; work with legal and consulting experts as needed to understand and comply with trade laws; translates regulatory language into practical and clear guidance. Serve as the primary liaison on global trade compliance subjects with internal teams (operations, logistics, sales) and external partners (brokers, government authorities and regulators, legal services, consultants, trade/industry associations, and the trade compliance functions of vendors, customers, and other business counterparties).
