p>What You're Good At: Knowledge of industrial control systems Welding and fabrication skills related to the modification of existing equipment Intermediate experience with PLC's, VFD's and computers Ability to work with automation, production, and computer systems Exceptional attention to detail Ability to read and utilize mechanical and electrical drawings/diagrams Effective communication skills to convey necessary information to fellow technicians, line operators, the Automation Team, managers, and plant leadership Ability to work both independently and within a team setting, including communication with various other Departments via radio, phone, and in-person conversations. What You Have: High School Diploma or equivalent required Associates degree preferred 5+ years experience in maintenance of a manufacturing environment preferred, experience with automated production equipment a plus Experience in installation and maintenance of various implements, such as pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, bushings, etc.
