Education and Experience – Required:** + Bachelor of Science + Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience with a proven track record of leadership progression + Direct people management experience with both salaried and non-exempt employees, including demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, coaching, active listening, and employee development + Experience developing, implementing, and driving results through key manufacturing metrics, including safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale **Skills Desired:** + MBA or advanced technical graduate degree + Six Sigma DMAIC Green Belt certification and/or demonstrated Lean capabilities + Experience collaborating, interfacing, and communicating effectively across functions and with leadership + Experience participating in or leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment to deliver key improvement initiatives or cost reduction programs + Experience supporting or leading innovation, new product development, and successful product launch into manufacturing + Experience managing talent development strategies, including programs to attract, develop, and retain key talent **This position does not support immigration sponsorship.** Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.
