p>This position is responsible for: Plans projects and provides administrative and managerial support to the Area Commander; supervises, monitors, and evaluates all Area Command departments to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished and to confirm adherence to established policies and procedures; ensures the United Way and other grant funding documentation is prepared and funds are administered appropriately; serves as liaison and technical resource to the Area Commander, external organizations, Advisory Board, Advisory Councils, and Executive Committees regarding the Area Command business and programs; assumes additional responsibilities in the absence of the Area Commander.
Education and Experience:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Services, Business Administration, one of the behavioral sciences, or related field, And Seven years progressively responsible experience in coordinating and administering social services programs with at least five years supervisory experience, Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
