Must be competent in the use of a computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, stethoscope, blood pressure monitor, thermometer, glucose monitor, pulse oximeter, weight scale, ENT scope, personal protective equipment, and other patient care equipment necessary to perform required duties as appropriate to the scope of the practice. Assesses and interpret data relative to patient age and developmental level, identifying increased physical/emotional dependency needs and evaluating the availability of support systems.
