Qualifications • Prefer candidates with an Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or related field • 3+ years of business development or out-licensing experience in the biotech, pharma, or life sciences • Strong understanding of LNP technologies, cell and gene therapy, or biologics development • Proven success in leading IP-related licensing transactions • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into business opportunities • Strategic attitude emphasizing action and outcomes • Collaborative approach to partner with many cross-functional teams Preferred Experience • Prior experience with IP out-licensing involving platform technologies like LNP or producer cell lines • Exposure to tech transfer offices or academic-industry partnerships • Familiarity with patent and freedom-to-operate considerations related to biologics and delivery platforms • Network across the biotech innovation ecosystem (accelerators, VCs, incubators, universities) • Ability to work effectively in a global, highly matrixed organization.
