Establish treatment goals based on evaluation findings and referral reasons, considering neuromuscular movement and stability, sensation, activities of daily living (ADLs), perception, cognition, vocational and prevocational abilities, developmental status, dysphagia, manual muscle testing, range of motion, body mechanics, and other relevant assessments. Demonstrates competency, as appropriate to the ages of patients served, in the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients needs; of knowledge of normal growth and development; and an understanding of the range of the treatment needed.
