This full-time opportunity allows you to work with students Kindergarten through 12th grade in a collaborative school-based setting while enjoying all that Oregon has to offer, from stunning coastlines and mountain adventures to vibrant cities and charming communities.

Position Overview

As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will help students develop the motor, sensory, and functional skills needed to participate successfully in their educational environment. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized strategies that support academic achievement, independence, and overall student success.

Assignment Details

• Locations: Dallas, Perrydale, and Falls City Oregon

Key Responsibilities

• Assess students' motor, sensory, functional, and developmental abilities to identify areas of need.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and families to support student success.
• Recommend accommodations, modifications, adaptive equipment, and environmental supports to maximize participation in school activities.
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide professional expertise regarding motor development, sensory processing, self-care skills, and classroom accessibility.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Support students in developing the skills necessary for academic participation, independence, and social engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Oregon Occupational Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
