Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure timely escalation and appropriate care planning, Prescribe and manage pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments as needed, Participate in sepsis screenings and bundle compliance, Communicate critical findings and clinical updates to the primary team and nursing staff, Support bedside nurses in clinical decision-making and patient management, Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policy, Assist with procedures when indicated and appropriate, Provide patient and family education around disease process, treatment plan, and prognosis, Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives, Provide off-shift coverage and respond to emergency calls throughout the hospital, Perform additional duties as assigned by the RRT leadership or attending physicians, Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, conducting physical exams, writing orders and progress notes, evaluating diagnostic tests and prescribing appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies.
