The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: * Establish relationships with both external and internal clients and customers, including industry associations and other potential consultant team members and construction contractors * Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes projects * Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally * Experience in client prepositioning activities, team (internal and external partners) and proposal development, and identification of staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects * Construction management, inspection and field support experience with local agencies, cities, counties and/or MDOT’s projects * Coordinating with clients and construction contractors to successfully execute and deliver projects * Manages projects, provides technical direction and guidance to staff and subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through staff, subordinate managers and supervisors * Assist bridge/highway design disciplines with constructability questions/issues * Familiarity with local and federal funding and CE&I project development and delivery requirements **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + BA/BS + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Valid Drivers License + Minimal travel may be required **Preferred requirements:** + Registered Professional Engineer in Michigan + 10 + years of project and client management experience as well as proven success managing multiple programs + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering **Additional Information** + Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
