Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients, including history taking, physical exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education • Spend approximately 50% of time in direct patient care and 50% supporting physician colleagues and clinical workflows (no independent patient panel) • Order and interpret appropriate labs, imaging, and referrals; perform procedures within scope of practice • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, care coordinators, and specialists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care • Support care coordination activities, including follow-up on results, referrals, and chronic disease management • Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record, ensuring appropriate coding and compliance • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, population health efforts, and practice workflow optimization • Maintain professionalism, regulatory compliance, and active participation in provider meetings and trainings. • Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree from an accredited nursing program • Physician Assistant: Graduation from an accredited PA program • Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain) • Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider) • Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation • Eligible for participation with all payers.
