Qualifications:
<ul><li>BS 5-7, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 (Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).</li><li>5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, with demonstrated weapons and defense platform knowledge</li><li>Knowledge of existing weapons systems programs, weapons software architecture, and mission application for weapons systems</li><li>Experience implementing open systems standards, MOSA, WOSA, GCIA, across diverse platforms (ground, air, maritime, space, or joint systems).</li><li>Understanding of mission engineering concepts and their application to weapons/platforms and multi-domain operations.</li><li>Proficiency with MBSE tools and methodologies (e.g., Cameo, SAM, Rhapsody, SysML, UPDM/UAF).</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.</li></ul>

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Model-Based Systems) to support one of our customers at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.  The program is providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms including technical research and development of technologies, analysis, and documentation as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems and the evaluation of their technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.   The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:<ul><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
