Senior LPMHCs must have five years of post-licensed experience that demonstrates possession of advanced practice skills and judgment, demonstrating progressive professional competency and expertise and be licensed to provide clinical supervision to trainees or unlicensed LPMHCs. Hold a masters or doctoral degree in: Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling; Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling; or a related field, from a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
p>The young children and families we serve present with a broad range of infant mental health concerns, but frequently have experienced trauma, abuse/neglect, removal from or loss of a primary caregiver, and as a result are exhibiting post-traumatic stress symptoms, behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety and/or distressed/disordered parent-child relationships. Our team of clinicians work exclusively with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families to offer comprehensive, trauma-informed, culturally proficient, relationship-based interventions including: Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Circle of Security-Parenting, Trauma-Focused CBT and other clinical interventions as necessary.

Individual Intervention:
The Clinical MHC III will be responsible for assisting with the creation of support and behavior plans, which consists of research, consultation, drafting interventions, plan-related documents, assist with training staff members, and assist with refresher training and data collection for plan maintenance.
This position works under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse and assists with psychiatric nursing care of mentally ill patients; observes, reports, and documents patients behavior, physical condition, and reactions to medications and treatment; participates in designing and implementing patient treatment plans; monitors and intervenes to ensure a safe and therapeutic patient milieu; and provides immediate crisis intervention when indicated. The psychiatric care and treatment modalities include milieu management, group therapy, activity therapy, health education and medication management with the goal of providing a consistent and safe environment for clients and to assist them with the amelioration of presenting problems and symptoms and improve problem-solving and coping skills.
