ul>Bachelor’s degree in social services or closely related field and at least 2 years of work experience in developmental disabilities, social services, mental health or a related field; or an Associate’s degree in social services or closely related field and at least 3 years of work experience in developmental disabilities, social services, mental health or a related field; or a high school diploma/GED and at least 5 years of work experience in developmental disabilities, social services, mental health or related field. - Filling open Personal Agent positions in collaboration with UCP’s Recruitment Department;
- Training newly hired Personal Agents and implementing on-going training and development;
- Managing schedules and approving payroll and expenses for your team members;
- Supporting excellent performance by communicating expectations, retraining to address any employee challenges, and completing performance evaluations;
- Acting as a resource for your team by proactively evaluating the needs of the customers on their caseloads and problem-solving when necessary; and.

A degree in social work or a related field, or the equivalence in years of experience; Experience in working with people who have been homeless and/or have mental health needs; Knowledge of mental health, substance use and homelessness needs and services; and experience providing interventions to these population; Ability to drive agency vehicles; Ability to successfully pass a DHS background check. The Birch Program provides services and shelter to adults who are currently engaged in Lane County's Aid and Assist Program (370); these individuals have pending legal involvement and have been determined by the courts to not be able to aid and assist in their court process because of their current mental health symptoms or level of cognitive impairment.
