Performs mechanical, physical, and properties testing on Polyolefin and Specialty Products, including resins, films, and molded parts (e.g., tensile/secant, hot tack, dart, puncture, tear, melt index, density, coefficient of friction (COF), oxygen transmission rate (OTR), water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), heat sealing, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)). Work environment may include exposure to high noise levels (>85 dB), extreme temperatures, vibration, moving machinery, chemical handling, work at heights, irregular surfaces, and the requirement to wear PPE (e.g., respirators, FR clothing, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, hard hats).
