This position supports the smooth operation of the hospital by managing client communications, maintaining accurate records, and assisting the veterinary team in providing outstanding patient care. Complete cash reconciliation, end-of-day financial tasks, and bank deposits while accurately processing payments and refunds, including transactions through Care Credit and credit card terminals.
Facilitate a variety of customer experiences including, but not limited to processing orders and registrations; creating ID cards and specialty badges; communicating campus logistics information such as on-site navigation and transportation service information, parking, and facility access/restrictions. Using knowledge of University policies, procedures, practices, and protocols, investigate and respond to issues of concern; isolate and troubleshoot problems; provide guidance and timely solutions; follow-up as necessary; escalate as required.

em> Check voicemails/emails each morning and throughout the day and respond Review the inbound fax several times each hour to receive orders Verify DME (DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT) insurance coverage and benefits prior to order completion Accurately collects appropriate intake information necessary for billing within 1 day Review, obtain and file clinical data for medical necessity withing two days Develop and maintain a strong understanding of specific requirements of contracted providers Generate sales orders in the database and prepare supplies/equipment for delivery. To coordinate scheduling of DMEPOS (durable medical equipment and supply orders) items by establishing/obtaining medical necessity documentation from referral sources, maintenance of patient files, the production of delivery paperwork and continuous courteous communication between internal departments, our patients, and professional providers necessary for patient satisfaction.
This handwork requires eye-hand coordination, and may require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs. You will interact with many customers daily, all while working with a fun, energetic team accomplishing daily tasks around the store!
Duties include, but are not limited to: • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes • Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures • Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment • Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts. • All Delivery Representatives should have a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements • Acceptable driving record • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
