The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures. The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

These responsibilities include but are not limited to receiving, pallet and box breakdown (with cutting tools), material put away into storage or flow racks, box build, initiating orders on the line, pre-packaging and counting, material transfers, physical inventory, item picking and proper placement, packing with air pillows and tape guns, shipping and affixing labels, pallet preparation, loading trucks and filling/confirming orders. • Safety Shoes Required** Lace-up only styles: no pull-ups or loafer-styles Steel toe Metatarsal protection not required Athletic styles are acceptable Waterproof/oil resistant not required High slip resistance preferred We will also ask when the person arrives, there will be a 1 day leniency policy to comply or the person will be asked to leave.
