This role requires troubleshooting and repair across multiple disciplines, along with flexibility to handle a variety of facility and equipment needs. Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Duties: The Parks Worker I position performs a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks related to the maintenance, upkeep, and improvement of City parks, green spaces, and recreational facilities. Collects litter and debris from parks, playgrounds, trails, and other public areas by hand; fills and removes trash bags (averaging approximately ten filled bags per person each morning).
p>Duties: The Utility Worker IV is a lead position responsible for leading and performing skilled and semi-skilled work related to the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of wastewater collection systems, including sewer lines, lift stations, and associated equipment. Leads, oversees, and assists utility crews in the installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of wastewater collection systems, including sewer mains, service laterals, lift stations, and related equipment.
p>Duties: Leads and performs manual tasks at a highly skilled level with the assistance of several utility workers involving the maintenance and construction of sanitary sewer lines and/or sewage plants, as well as water and storm drainage lines, and streets and sidewalks. Position may require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching; and standing for prolonged periods of time.
