p>Duties: Leads and performs manual tasks at a highly skilled level with the assistance of several utility workers involving the maintenance and construction of sanitary sewer lines and/or sewage plants, as well as water and storm drainage lines, and streets and sidewalks. Position may require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching; and standing for prolonged periods of time.
Duties: The Utility Worker II performs manual tasks at a skilled level involved in the maintenance and construction of streets, sidewalks, ditches, parks, lawns, storm sewers, sewage plant, and using camera system to inspect drainage lines. Position may require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching; and standing for prolonged periods of time.
This role requires troubleshooting and repair across multiple disciplines, along with flexibility to handle a variety of facility and equipment needs. Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
