p>Skills/Abilities: Skilled in the operation and maintenance of custodial and maintenance equipment such as vacuum cleaner, high speed and slow speed buffer, automatic scrubber, lawn mower, weed eater, carpet extractor, forklift, personnel lift and power sweeper; ability to use various hand tools and cleaning equipment such as mop, mop wringer, broom, scraper, staple gun, hammer, screwdriver, wrenches, sockets, ratchets and chisel; ability to drive 1/2 ton truck, passenger car and van; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to interact effectively with other employees and the public. Essential Job Functions: Performs unskilled and semi-skilled manual tasks involved in preparing a variety of assembly facilities for use, including setting tables, chairs, stages, and risers; prepares program equipment such as small sound systems, exhibit booths, and podiums; removes same after event; also performs various custodian duties including sweeping, raking, scrubbing, mopping, and removal of debris.
