Candidates with a vocational/technical degree are strongly preferred Experience leading and training others Experience working in an industrial setting with a wide range of production machinery Strong mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, make decisions and resolve machine issues Experience with Lean and continuous improvement Competent with rulers and measurement Good communication skills Able to run multiple pieces of equipment Experience on Perfect Binders with up to 40 station collators, 3-knife trimmers, inline boxing and palletizing Experience with hard-cover casing-in lines, collating/kitting lines with up to 30 streamfeeder stations, packaging/cartooning lines, Sitma mail lines, Aster sewing equipment and hot foil stampers Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and production orders Can regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder as well as push, pull and lift at least 10 lbs occasionally up to 50 lbs Can regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach and kneel Can wear Personal Protective Equipment including steel toe shoes and ear protection Able to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role #LI-JK3 What's in it For You?
