Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators (cartridge, inline air, etc.), chemical suits, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, hard hat, etc. Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, alignment etc.) to fit bearings, align gears, shafts, couplings, belts, and set equipment to precise tolerances.
li>Installation, alignment, repair, and rebuild of complex, rotating pumping and compressing equipment including: centrifugal, gear, reciprocating, progressive cavity, syringe pumps and both dry and liquid-ring vacuum pumps.
p>As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with the maintenance manager and supervisor to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, use arms and hands to feel or reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on occasion, talk and hear.
