That may include but, not limited to checking schedules and organizing patient flow to ensure patient visits are started in a timely manner; greet and escort patients to exam rooms; prepare for the provider-patient encounter by obtaining a comprehensive health history and vital signs; perform required screenings per established guidelines. Complete in a timely manner, with adequate supervision, the assigned clinic maintenance tasks including but not limited to the following: setting up instruments and equipment, running tests and controls on equipment, cleaning exam/procedure rooms and documenting completed tasks based on clinic protocol.

Licensure/Certification/Listing: Required: Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required from one of the following: American Associate of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), American Allied Health - RMA(AAH), National Health career Association (NHA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (RMA), National Healthcare Worker's Association (NHCWA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), National Registry of Medical Assistants (NRMA), American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). Working under close supervision in an outpatient setting, this role performs routine clinical and administrative tasks to assist providers and the care team.
