Management degree in Logistics Management / International Trade / Import Export, and should have at least 15 years of experience in handling project logistics with EPC companies • Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak) • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Good computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs • Good leadership and decision-making skills • Fluor Logistics Operational experience strongly preferred • Experience in Capital Project Logistics specific to Mining and Metals • Knowledge and understanding of International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS) • Knowledge of Import/Export compliance • Understanding of all modes of transportation (ocean, air, land,) • Ability to coordinate domestic and international shipments • Proficiency in Chartering and Domestic freight management • Awareness of interfacing disciplines, including Procurement, Contracting, Construction • Knowledge of Transportation of Heavy Lifts/ ODC consignments, conduct route survey • Strong relationship with Logistics service providers. • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fourteen (14) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eighteen (18) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
