Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing logistics team, establishing clear vision, operating rhythms, development plans, and succession coverage
• Develop and maintain strategic carrier relationships across truck, rail, barge, transload, broker, and 3PL partners using performance metrics and intentional lane capacity strategies
• Execute freight cost-saving and value-creation strategies through lane, mode, accessorial, and market-rate analysis while prioritizing safety and service standards
• Partner with internal division leadership, finance, and the Nucor Logistics Group to validate cost savings and drive continuous improvement
