p>· Oversee Logistics & Supply Chain department and employees (~20 FTE utilizing supporting contingent workers); · Supervise purchase of production and/or non-production materials and coordinate suppliers to meet Company’s goals of quality, delivery, and cost;
· Work with procurement on applicable supply & service contracts;
· Set up raw material and product specifications in SAP as needed with collaboration from Quality Assurance, Operations, and Customer Service;
· Planning/Scheduling suppliers/sub-contractors to maintain uninterrupted flow of materials including raw materials, components, sub-components and services from internal, local and overseas suppliers;
· Identifying, notifying and managing potential shortages by planning and expediting internally and externally;
· Liaising with freight forwarders for all coming materials from oversea suppliers and maintaining in-Transit Report for accurate online information for Customer Service;
· Oversee local production scheduling, end of month processing, and inventory/production reporting in collaboration with Operations and Planners;
· Managing inventory levels to optimum levels to achieve balance between customer service and working capital (over stock v/s stock outs);
· Assume lead role for inventory management data in SOX audits;
· Schedule packaging and shipping activities to ensure on-time shipment and delivery;
· Partner with delivery services to optimize product warehouse use;
· Responsible for Logistics & supply chain services for toller and warehousing activity associated with site.
