Duties and responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to, managing a complex caseload that is subject to strict deadlines, preparing and maintaining case files, researching case backgrounds, reviewing and evaluating testimony and evidence, analyzing information from various sources to make sound decisions, writing and issuing final orders and documenting decisions and outcomes of hearings. With a workforce of approximately 4,500 employees throughout the state, the Department is leading the way to A Safer Florida through the efficient and professional execution of its core mission: the issuance of driver licenses, vehicle tags and titles, and operation of the Florida Highway Patrol.
